Plot
Vishal Bhat (Saqib Saleem) and Preity Sen (Saba Azad) are two best friends who study at the same college and work for the annual cultural festival. Vishal is a shy and nerdy guy who has a crush on Malvika Kelkar (Tara D'Souza), a popular and glamorous girl who is dating Rahul Sareen (Nishant Dahiya), a handsome and rich guy who is also the lead singer of a rock band. Preity is a tomboyish and outspoken girl who has a crush on Rahul, but he does not notice her.
One day, Vishal and Preity decide to create fake Facebook profiles of Rahul and Malvika, respectively, and start chatting with each other. They soon develop feelings for each other's online personas, unaware that they are actually talking to their best friends. They also start giving advice to Rahul and Malvika on how to improve their relationship, which leads to more complications.
Meanwhile, Vishal and Preity also have to deal with their personal problems. Vishal's father wants him to join his business, but Vishal wants to pursue his passion for photography. Preity's mother wants her to get married soon, but Preity wants to focus on her career as a journalist. Vishal and Preity also have to face their rivals, Hacky (Prabal Panjabi) and Neha (Manasi Rachh), who are trying to sabotage their work for the festival.
As the festival approaches, Vishal and Preity decide to meet their online lovers in person. However, they are shocked to discover that they have been chatting with each other all along. They feel betrayed and angry, and decide to end their friendship. They also confront Rahul and Malvika, who admit that they have been cheating on each other with other people.
On the day of the festival, Vishal and Preity realize that they still love each other, despite their differences. They reconcile and confess their feelings on stage, in front of the whole college. Rahul and Malvika also realize that they are not meant for each other, and break up. Vishal and Preity kiss and hug each other, as their friends cheer for them.
